Description
Blue Dartfish, Ptereleotris calliura, is a common fish in our area. You will find them in sandy bottoms with a lot of rubble or plain sandy areas near yellowheaded jawfish. They also like to burrow somewhat like the jawfish so make sure that you have a thick sand bed. Most of the time they will hover over their burrows. We like to feed them pellets and frozen mysis shrimp. They will get up to 5″ and we normally send them when they are around 3″. We also collect them as mated pairs. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in having us collect you a mated pair.
