Description
Blue Parrotfish – Scarus coeruleus, are blue in their terminal and initial phase. During their jeuvenile phase they can have a yellow snout that sometimes continues to the dorsal fin. These fish feed over sandy areas and like to scrape algae and small organisms from rocks and corals. They can reach up to over 3 feet in length which would require a much bigger system compared to 150 gallons.
Small: 1 to 3 inches
Medium: 3 to 5 inches
Large: 5 to 8 inches
XL: 8 to 12 inches
