These are great starfish, beautiful and extremely hardy. I have two, both from KP, one purchased about two years ago and the other about 8 months ago. As long as you acclimate them very slowly they will thrive. I spot feed them about once each week with a small amount meaty food placed near an arm. They do a lot of hunting on their own for uneaten food. They will catch and eat a small urchin, but leave everything else in my fowlr alone. I can remember, many years ago, before heavy tourism development, when I saw lots of them snorkeling in shallow water grassy areas in Negril. They seem to stay pretty small, another plus.
