“Prince” ghe Blackcap Basslet

Just want to give a five star shout out to KP Aquatics. I was a bit apprehensive about purchasing livestock online, but took a chance, and glad I did. Blackcaps have been very hard to come by lately. (I’ve been waiting since August 2024 for one.) Anyway, “Prince” (Purple Rain reference) shipped on Tuesday and arrived on Wednesday. He was packaged up very neat and tight. Opened the box and was giddy as a child on Christmas when I saw him. I immediately put his bag in the tank to balance the temp and to allow a bit of an intro to our other fish (Spike the flametail goby, and Mike & Molly our fancy clownfish). After releasing “Prince” into the tank, It took a couple of days before he settled into his new environment. A week later, he is thriving and adds a great color to our tank. Thanks to KPA for a great experience and a great specimen of a fish. Our tank is now complete! – Les
